about edita

My name is Edita Lecce, I am a qualified Nutritionist and its my passion to share my knowledge with people who have always struggled in life with many health issues.

As a mum and a woman, I personally know the struggles of stress, yoyo dieting, fatigue and many gut health issues. After a few career changes, I finally decided to study the thing I struggled the most with which was my continuous weight gain. Even after gaining a degree in Nutrition, I realised that our bodies are a bit more complex and not all the same. We are all individual with many layers of varied issues that impact us all in different ways, and one treatment cannot be applied to the whole population. As a nutritionist my job is to identify individual needs and create personal treatment plans that target specific issues.

I have a special interest in weight management through an easy approach with menu plans, lifestyle recommendations and supplement support. As I struggled with my weight for many years, I realised that not all diets work or are sustainable. I believe in small changes over a longer period that are easy to implement and sustain.

I can assist with many conditions such as gut health, including food allergies and intolerances, that may be contributing to irregular bowel movements, eczema, rashes and other unexplained symptoms.

There are many areas I have an interest in such as Smart DNA testing, which allows you to test for snips within your DNA that will help you with understanding why your family has a predisposition to high cholesterol, high blood pressure and possible diabetes and how to adjust your diet and lifestyle to live a healthier life.

I can assist with conditions such as PCOS, celiac, thyroid, Type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, menopause, high cholesterol and many more. These can be aided via diet, supplements or both.
